I disagree. It would have been the responsibility of the U.S. Attorney to provide those facts for the judges. Judges are not investigators.

Not only a lie, but also irrelevant to the actual case.....

McPain and his fellow AZ senator Flake (aptly named) have a bill to add another circuit court in the west and break up the 9th. I heard Flake talking about it on Fox last week. I also heard one or two House members saying that they were going to put through (or had done so) a similar bill.
