Democrats have the reverse Midas touch - everything they touch turns to crap.

That’s always been the way. Just look at the inner cities and see how much progress has been made by democrats - none

The problem is the people leaving california bring their california politics and turn the next place they infest in to liberal hell holes. See Washington. See Oregon. And now, unfortunately, see Idaho.

Nevada housing costs have been outragious and through the roof because of the Californian continued exodus. The last 40 years, each time their legislature meets, another wave comes over. And sadly, they bring their leftist politics with them.

IIRC Mr. Vranich started tracking this data after determining that the State of California does not. The leftists in Sacto simply don’t care. State revenue down? They’ll just raise taxes even more.

The dirty secret is important employers will be cut backroom deals while the Mom & Pop stores and small employers will not have access to the back room.

Great names like Caterpillar, Amazon, Samsung, Sutter Health...

More precisely, companies big enough to afford the necessary bribes.

But the trends continue to show California as a net exporter of people to other states”

You forgot the Best Part, Citizens are leaving California in droves but the Population is Growing with more and more Illegal Aliens and the Welfare class.

The businesses came come to Texas, but I want Texas to stop allowing rapugees, illegal aliens and Kalifornicans (unless fully vetted) into our state.

If California had New Jersey’s weather, they’d be leaving even faster.

I’d have to have a guarantee that they won’t bring leftists with them.

Californians fleeing their state has pretty well screwed up my state.

We're getting droves of them here in Virginia too. Unfortunately they don't leave their political leftward leanings at the state line.

I’ve maintained for many years that if a few really big companies quit California it won’t take long for a revolt and a return to sanity.

Some do but not all. I moved from California to Georgia. Folks were a little nervous about me. Then we were discussing CCW and they fell in love with me. They figured I was one of those Californians. They found out that on many things I am more conservative than they are. I saw what didn’t work
