The Javelin is often mistaken for a Chevelle (go check the owner forums as well as the recent Jay Leno video where he comments on that), unless you see the front or the badges the Cougar gets mistaken for a Mustang and the Firebird and the Camaro are easily mistaken for each other unless you can see the front or the taillights (no surprise, same platform).

I'm a classic car fanatic I have absolutely no trouble telling a Javelin from a Chevelle.

They are not even close to looking alike.
