The European Commission has admitted that the UK economy has maintained momentum since Junes historic vote for national independence, despite Europhile scaremongering that a vote for Brexit would cause a recession.
In their latest forecasts for European growth, the commission boosted their pessimistic 1% forecast for the UKs growth in 2017 by 50%, predicting that the UK economy will expand by 1.5% this year.
The news comes as the pound strengthens against the dollar and continues to strengthen against the Euro for the sixth consecutive trading session.

actually, the Eurozone 2017 growth prediction is also at 1.5%; the same as the U.K.
yes, it does mean there is not a major “decline” foreseen, for 201 for the U.K. due to the Brexit, but it would be wrong to suggest it projects growth better than the Eurozone - better than SOME in the Eurozone, surely, but that is a different and not difficult comparison than with the zone as w whole.
