Trump is Suddenly Recognized as The President in CALIFORNIA as Liberal State BEGS for His Help
Tea Party ^ | 2/12/2017 | Gateway Pundit Staff

After repeatedly attacking and criticizing President Trump, the State of California is officially asking for his help as they have run short of resources in wake of severe weather that has caused significant damage in the state.

From Fox40:

Gov. Jerry Brown has asked President Trump to declare a major disaster for California because of damage from January storms.

The letter sent Friday says the relentless series of storms caused flooding, mudslides, evacuations, erosion, power outages and at least eight deaths. Northern California was hardest hit.

Brown says the storm system was so severe and widespread that state and local governments need federal assistance to continue dealing with the problems it created.

Governor Brown has made his disgust for President Trump known in the past as Breitbart reports that back in March of 2016 Governor Brown said “If Trump were ever elected, we’d have to build a wall around California to defend ourselves from the rest of this country,” which Brown later said was “a joke.”

In addition to snarky comments made from Brown, add in the hateful rhetoric of Maxine Waters who is calling from Trump’s impeachment because in her words, “This is the most outrageous and ridiculous President that this country has ever had.” That statement pretty much embodies how most of the politicians in California feel about President Trump.

Also consider Calexit. There is a growing movement in California to leave the rest of the United States since the state has become so liberal that it doesn’t come even close to where most states are at politically.

Then throw in the ruling of the Ninth Circuit Court (located in CA) this last week which blocked Trump’s Travel Ban and put the country at risk and now President Trump has a decision to make.

President Trump will almost certainly provide aide if it is needed in the state as it is the right thing to do but Californians should be careful about viciously attacking the President and then turning around and asking for a handout.

If they hadn’t spent so much servicing illegal aliens, they would’ve been able to keep up with the necessary maintenance of Oroville dam.

A comment Trump (or one of his surrogates) just might make, publicly.

Especially since the counties around the dam went for Trump. But I agree even if not, we need to do the right thing while at the same time hold them accountable. Maybe use some of the funds withheld for sanctuary cities for disaster relief
I read last night that corp of engineers has begged for funds to repair the dam but Govnr Moonbeam wouldn’t release them

Trump should act deaf to CAs pleas for help. Just don’t respond. Ignore Brown until he crawls (literally) to the WH, begging publicly for forgiveness.

Then, remind Brown that with all the chaos in the streets, massive illegal immigration, an enormous debt, the refugee crisis, with having to fight liberal courts every step of the way, with having to defend himself & his family from disgusting attacks such as those Brown himself have leveled, Trump just has not had the time to properly assess the CA storm damage - he’ll get back to Brown “soon”.

Finally, sympathizing with Brown, Trump should offer him 100k surplus WWII shovels, suggesting Brown mobilize all the unemployed in CA to start shoveling mud.

Dear Jerry:

Our FEMA folks have informed me that you incorrectly completed OMG Form_19740863984.

Specifically, you failed to check the box indicating full statewide compliance with federal immigration laws.

Please resubmit the form when you have eliminated all sanctuary cities and turned all illegal immigrants over to federal immigration authorities.

And Jerry, have a nice day.

Best Wishes,

Donald

I wonder if the EPA or the CEPA was involved with the lack of repairs??

The EPA is a terrorist organization.

I recall Obama telling Texas to go to hell numerous times on disaster relief

The last time Louisiana flooded around Baton Rouge all they got was a lecture from Obama about racism. People had to rescue each other in their own boats. Finally the government was prompted to act, to block the boat ramps so that private citizens could not rescue each other and make the government look bad.

Ignoring politics entirely, Trump should be all over this Oroville Dam failure. This could be catastrophic and it’s not time for politics.

With his background in building and construction, this could be a moment for him to shine.

Given the number of residents potentially affected, Trump needs every helicopter at the disposal of the US government to be on call for rapid deployment.

I might just send the 101st Airborne (Air Assault) to Ft Irwin on standby and not wait for any appeals for help.

This is not a political issue.

Fire Holder and give up on Sanctuary cities. Both can be done in 5 minutes.

Trump should say: Unlike a previous administration which denied funding to Americans it politically differed with such as Texas, Nashville (and any others), this administration supports and assists ALL Americans. We will be working with the People of California to help manage this issue. We will also discover who is responsible for this problem and if appropriate, prosecute.

With CA’s track record, God knows what they’d do with the money.

Bingo.

I would use the money to dig a canal from the dam to Frisco and an ample supply of dynamite for the dam.

For that matter, we (the rest of the country) should just tell them to use the money they set aside for use on the illegals and “sanctuary cities”, on this instead. Show California citizens where they come in the list of priorities by who gets the money, citizens/disaster relief or illegals.

Perhaps the 9th Circus can legislate that the dam stay intact.

I hate to tell you this: Nashville is a Liberal bastion in the otherwise mostly conservative state of Tennessee. So is Memphis. Obama gets a lot of support from the entertainment industry in both cities.

So, why didn’t Obama help Nashville? A total lack of empathy for anyone or anything - he’s totally into himself & nobody else.

Cant wait for the “natural disaster” folks to chime in.

The natural river has been there for centuries longer than the dam that was built by humans. Mans improper management of his creation now threatens his very existence.

This is a man-made disaster.

Many people have posted the Obamas withholding of disaster money for taxpayers of other states. What is right for one taxpayer should be right for the other. I love to visit NorCal, but I don’t think they should have special rights other citizens do not have. Sounds a bit coincidental that a problem suddenly appeared. I understand the rain and all the pressure. Is it remotely possible this is a created crisis to justify the Trillion dollar stimulus?
