So glad our daughter moved out of California last year. Not because she’s 1,700 miles away (which I hate), but because she’s being spared having her life run/ruined by living in this state. Good weather is not the be-all and end-all to life.

CA wants to go it alone (secede) and challenge Trump? Then Moonbeam can just suck it up. CA has for decades abused the legit workers and taxpayers in favor of the welfare and illegals - raising our taxes, overturning any ballot measure we passed to limit it, etc. Now they are asking for help.

I hope Trump says “too bad, so sad”

Could be a ploy....he knows trump almost has to release the funds..I would release the funds..only requirement is up front to say exactly what is the money going to be used for. I would ok every transaction. If any payment is detoured to a not previously stated entity..I would bust him for lying to a federal agency.Jail time....browns minions would be responsible for his safety...be fun to see the backstabbing begin. If refuses to deal...deduct from medicare reimbursements and when ca cuts med services sue state doctors/hospitals for malpractice. Brown would be thrown in the figurative trash heap of history.

Hey Jerry, just ask your immigrants to wire their money to you instead of Mexico for a while.

USA money now to help citizens. Strings attached to choke local politicians later.

1. No money without deducting from sanctuary city’s budgets.
2. No money without hearings as to the maintenance budget of California and what is being done to maintain infrastructure. I add this because one post I have read tonight accuses the state of California of deliberately neglecting infrastructure because they know the feds will pay when there is an emergency.
3. Governor Brown needs to explain how a drought and this flooding could have happened with the same amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

He will really need $ after dealing with the Oroville dam situ. And I’m hoping the whole thing doesn’t go. Don’t want to contemplate that.

Gee, What happened to That business about having the world’s 6th largest economy and not sending tax money to Washington? You remember— the old we don’t need your money BS?

“Don’t want to contemplate that.” Send in peeps who know what they are doing to save the dam over the next months. Fund taking care of the down river peeps for the necessary high flows to save the dam. Bill Moonbeam later.

Jerry, old bean—use some of that money you’re wasting on illegal invaders to our country to fix your emergency. Love, Donald

Makes sense, something CA is not used to doing.

The schadenfreude is strong with me. And if CA’s financial woes aren’t enough they couldn’t even set up a port a potty at this site for the repair crew without one environmental impact study after another.

No, its just who spends what money. California wants to use their money to create new problems, but Brown wants Trump to use federal money to solve real problems.

Tell CA to go to Hell.

A HUGE chunk of change went and is going to the ridiculously high salaries and benefits of state employees and their outrageously absurd platinum retirement benefits. CALPERS, the state employee pension fund is at least $1.6 billion in the hole. Moonbat’s solution: don’t try to make the pension fund solvent by at least freezing the above inflation rate annual benefit increases—that’s just too much to ask. Moonbat’s “solution” was to raise the cost of gasoline by 42 cents tax per gallon.

Californians deserve the horrible politicians they elect over and over again. I have no sympathy.

make any aid contingent on Brown getting on TV and publicly announcing that California will enforce all immigration laws, and apologize for being such a total jackass.

We have a winner!

You know those floods predicted near Oroville?

Sean Penn to the rescue!!

..btw didn't he used to be an item with Madonna who offered BJs to people who voted for Clinton?
