I lived in Live Oak from 1984-1995...Downstream of Oroville Dam...I went up there a couple of times when they were releasing over 65k of water over the original spillway that now has a hole in it...When I read yesterday about that I thot dang if that Dam Fails its got 3 and half million acre feet of water it will flood thru oroville...Live oak and all th eway into downtown Sacratomato...Pray for those people below the dam!

I was born and raised in LIve Oak, survived the flood of Christmas 1955. Oroville Dam was planned and built due to that devasting flood. Yuba City was hit the worst during that one. Prayers for anyone living south of the dam
