If large areas of the watershed are burnt/denuded water will run-off much more quickly. This might cause problems next year with high inflow rates and/or high reservoir levels, possibly exceeding outflow capacities of the power plant and MS.
This map shows the location of the fire, which fortunately is south of the reservoir & not in the watershed.
