You are correct. Some corruptocrat CEO comes up with a way to make megabucks from a life-saving drug that has been around for decades and exists as an inexpensive generic by fiddling with the formula or the delivery system. Big campaign donations are made to key corruptocrat political whores and the “new” product sails through the FDA and is mandated by law to be carried and used by all medics everywhere. The whores expect to be paid back and if not there will be trouble for the CEO.
Under Leftist strictures, it’s very, very difficult to become a millionnaire while adhering to the straight and narrow. Honesty may be the best policy, but it doesn’t pad many featherbeds.
Does he also have an interest in epi pens?
Millions of people are, or have recently been, on prescribed opioid pain killers, for chronic pain. A great many of these ordinary people get addicted to the prescription medicine. Then, when the prescriptions run out, some of them turn to the black market for their supply. Some of those “junkies” are likely your friends, neighbours, or relatives.
