(Producer) Ehrlich has no reservations about political messages or anti-President Trump statements flying during CBS’ three and a half hour Grammycast.

I’m lucky to have antenna TV. Columbo reruns are well worth watching.

They need the politics to cause controversy, which generates publicity. Since even bad publicity is good publicity, the viewership will increase, which definitely improves ad revenue. So yes, politics will be encouraged.
I don’t watch award shows. They are generally boring.

We can make this go away if we stick together.

One of my Fakebook “friends” posted someone’s proposal that someone put together instead a show that honors the work and achievements of heroes like military warriors, firemen, and policemen. Put them on a “red carpet” instead of these so-called entertainers. That would be something many of us would watch.

Folks...just remember this. Not one Grammy award winner makes America run everyday...not one. Their words comments and opinions carry little value or weight.

I’ll tell ya who makes the wheels of the USA turn, your policemen, your firemen, your AMTs & EMTs, your doctors, your nurses, in the ERs & hospitals, your bus drivers, your airline pilots, your oil drillers, your production line workers for automobiles, airplanes, etc., your coal miners, your steel workers, your railroad engineers, your non-union school teachers, your military folks, your garbage collector’s, and.....on & on & on!!! End of story!!!

Even better than not watching would be a concerted effort by everyone with a cable box to be watching the same alternative program. We could make them see our clear choice.

Your computer tech nerd types come right before bus drivers in that list.

I keep missing out on all of these boycotts because I don’t watch the awards shows, or ESPN, and don’t buy coffee at Starbuck’s. Crap.

Here are the nominees:

Looks like a showdown between Adele and Beyonce mainly, along with some rappers plus Justin Bieber.

A pretty bleak scene.

I haven’t watched any entertainment awards show for at least twenty years. Politics or not, I just don’t give a damn.

Great idea.

Although each and every one of them put their lives on the line every day, so it could be a long show. ;)

Lowest ratings EVER, I predict.

One thing I learned in Marketing was, 'alienate as FEW potential customers as possible'. Hollywood seems to have forgotten this most important rule.

Stopped watching a long time ago. Their show of praise for one another does not fit my interests. I will be having people over for dinner who are much more entertaining than those people.
