Trump Sticks Press in Basement With Blacked Out Windows While He Golfs

Donald Trump likes to golf. He owns golf courses around the world, after all. Donald Trump does not like the media. We know this because he talks about it, he tweets about it, and he likely dreams about it. This weekend, the president took another break from Washington, D.C. and headed south to Mar-a-Lago. On Saturday, Trump suited up to play a round of golf with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

Obama always played golf with his friends and celebrities. Never recall him playing golf with Boehner or any foreign leader.

In the house I grew up in, the first floor was up a flight of about eight or ten steps. The "basement" was more-or-less at ground level. (The door to the basement was in the back yard, and you only had to go down two or three steps to get to the door.) The basement windows were just about at eye level (looking out from the basement), and were about 12-16 inches above the base of the outside wall.

My point is that the word "basement" can suggest a dark, subterranean room, almost a dungeon, whereas many basements are fairly exposed, well-illuminated, and even pleasant.

Well, winter in general. Although, my Solar water heater panels (came with the house) chose the time I was back up north, to freeze and break and run up my water bill when I wasn’t even there.

Never did like those things. Hot water was NEVER hot.

But up here in the midwest; basements are necessary (tornados), and doable.
