The Congressional Hispanic Caucus is requesting a meeting with U.S. Immigration and Customs and Enforcement (ICE) officials over recent raids on undocumented immigrants.
Rep. Michelle Lujan Grisham (D-N.M.), who chairs the caucus, sent a letter to ICE asking for “an open and candid discussion” on the enforcement changes, saying the raids "have struck fear in the hearts of the immigrant community.”
“It is critical that we meet with you in person immediately to discuss the impact these raids have had on our communities as well as obtain clarifying guidance on how ICE policies will differ from the last Administration,” the letter reads.
Democratic Reps. Zoe Lofgren (Calif.), Lucille Roybal-Allard (Calif.), John Conyers (Mich.), Luis Gutierrez (Ill.) and Judy Chu (Calif.) also signed the letter calling for a meeting by Wednesday.
The letter stated that congressional offices had contacted ICE and the Department of Homeland Security about the recent raids in California, but has yet to year back about the enforcement.
A report on Friday said more than 300 undocumented immigrants had been arrested in Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta and Chicago in raids this week.
An ICE official in the Los Angeles office called the raid an “enforcement surge,” but maintained that they were routine.
Trump last month signed an executive order on immigration that ended the “catch and release” policy that allowed people who crossed the border to return to Mexico without being detained.
ICE should send them a progress report every week or so.
It makes no difference that libtards are making the news, that their crying and whining is broadcast across the world.

And that's the ones they need to go after plus the identity thieves and welfare system abusers. Those that are obeying the law and have established families over here can probably be put into a program to get them legalized. We don't want to send the wrong message to the Hispanic community; that we don't care about breaking up their families because that's not true. At the same time they've got to realize they made the decision to come into America across the border illegally. They sure wouldn't let Americans into Mexico illegally. In fact, they would throw them in jail and it wouldn't be the nice ones like we have over here.
No change whatsoever. Just a return to the rule of law as both W. Bush and Clinton practiced it.

Rep. Judy Chu (D-Ca) avowed supporter of Red China and former leader of the maoist Communist Workers Party
Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill). Several books report that he was a member of the Puerto Rican Socialist Party, a Marxist Castro-linked enemy of America, and a supporter of the deadly Castro-trained FALN terrorist group - Fraunces Tavern bombing, for one, attacks on US servicemen in Puerto Rico and attacks on the police/police stations.
Yet, CHC, you’ve got some really good supporters if you like commies.
Our Government agencies are not allowed to associate with discriminatory race based organisations.
Yep...Conyers, Chu, and Gutierrez are not worth spit. Them and the CHC are birds of a feather.
Arrest ALL lawbreakers. The Rule of Law must be established. No exceptions. As to this hateful caucus...f’em.
