“Sweeping,” as in rooting out the criminal elements. Trump has been clear to say our efforts would be focused on bad characters. Don’t expect the press to make that distinction.
Correct, those criminals will be picked up as e-verify assures self deportation for millions more who are no longer able to work illegally. Hopefully draconian measures against employers who illegally employ foreigners will help convince even more to head home.
We should not be satisfied with only deporting those already caught and convicted of other crimes.
There are NO “otherwise law-abiding” illegal aliens.
They MUST break multiple laws DAILY to continue to be here illegally. Illegal employment, benefit fraud and document fraud are the tip of the iceberg.
Why should we wait until they harm or kill Americans before deporting them?
They are illegal aliens subject to deportation.
Deport them all as soon as they are discovered.
