Well, I can’t speak for Gorsuch, I do know of people who still remain in churches that used to be traditional but have gone liberal IN ORDER TO internally influence the church to go back to its traditional roots.

Because while I lived in MA, the selection wasn’t all that could be desired. I ended up at a liberal church. It did not affect me theologically or politically. At that time and place, it was the best option available.
