Why are 2 U.S. officials and 1 former U.S. official leaking intimate details of the conversation to the press? The admin must know who these 3 leakers are. There were only a few people in the room when the conversation took place. Is Trump leaking this info on purpose?
You missed the most obvious option. It is fake news. Anonymous sources and no confirmation.
The question I would ask is what is the intent of this fake news?

Everyone on the right side knows the nuke deal with Russia is a bad one. So why would it be so difficult to believe that Trump would too, particularly since he's been heeding the sound advice he's been getting from knowledgeable top administration officials.
