I agree. But we cannot let the perfect be the enemy of the good. That's exactly what the Dems will try and do. "Oh well, since you can't deport every single last illegal, I guess there's no point in deporting any of them." No, that's not the road we need to travel. Start with the worst cases (i.e. violent criminals) and move on from there. If we deport 50% of the illegals, most of the others will self-deport. And even if we can't get rid of 100% of them, I'd still say that getting rid of 80% or 90% of them is far less of a "failure" than not getting rid of any of them.
