In the turbine room where the steam spins the electrical generators.
Completely seperate from the reactors .
Reactor areas are made to withstand an airliner hitting them.
Yep. apparently there was a problem with the antimatter stream, but Scotty has the dilithium matrix dialed in now and everythng is fine.

Served awesome pad thai from a noodle cart.
Or not ...
I have no clue, really.
Since the plant seems to be under construction which means no spent fuel and the accident was reported to be outside the nuclear zone but in the engine room, I’m guessing they had a hydrogen leak.
Hydrogen is used to cool the turbine generator in nuclear power plants.

I'd protest it, too, IF there were Jihadists around.
(And THERE ARE)!
France sure is having a lot of spontaneous, non-terrorism related, explosions these days.
Saw Wad Dee, sawadee, sawasdee .... a quick google search will result in several different ways of spelling.
It means Hello or, Good Morning, Good Afternoon, Good Evening, Good Night, Goodbye, depending on the time of day it is spoken.
Cow Pot served steaming hot with some Thai peppers was awesome.
to be prosaic this morning, it probably means ‘the village of the Flamands,” that is, the Flemish. But I like the flaming superhero on fire better.
“Last I heard France got 75% of its power this way.”
Very smart of France. Nuclear is the best, cleanest source of electric power today.
Steam explosion?
Interesting coincidence that there was an explosion in the Paris metro yesterday.
Thanks mags:)
Apparently the plant isn’t operating yet. Hydrogen is also used to cool the generator in power plants because of its insignificant weight. Could have been a leak on the turbine deck, engine house to uninformed journalists.
Hydrogen was released from the spent fuel cladding from the rods stored in Fukushima’s spent fuel pool when the water circulating pumps lost power. The French plant would not have spent fuel on site until after the first refueling after operations begin.
