Exactly. They will take safe dem seats like hers to concede this justice and argue the next one needs 60.
I just ran into this. Looks like Gorsuch will have a clear shot to get on the Court, providing nothing terrible comes out. Can’t say I’m surprised. The next step for Republicans is to try to get close to 60 seats in 2018...so that the filibuster can then be nuked, if necessary, but still with a decent number of Republican defections.
