Milo rode the Alt Right bandwagon until it became uncool, then bailed out.
One way to try to destroy the Alt right is to attack them. Another attempt to co-opt and discredit them by placing a flamboyant gay boy in the leadership position.
Richard Spencer is a threat to the leftist order, Milo is not.
I agree with you about both Milo and false leadership, but I am appalled that you consider someone like Richard Spencer an ally.
"White nationalists" are scientific atheists who believe conservative values are the product of thousands of years of evolution and of European genes and chromosomes. How in the world is such a philosophy of any help when we're already fighting atheists and non-Theistically-based moral systems on the Left?
The problem with the Left is that it uses a non-Theistically based values system. What those values may be is ultimately of no consequence. We don't need identity politics of any kind but the Laws of G-d, and admiring and pushing atheist skull-measurers who don't acknowledge our A-mighty Creator is only going to lead to more Divine punishment.
I would prefer the company of somebody who, every day (and at risk of his life), advances the cause of conservatism, to anybody who can only sneer at how imperfect some of our warriors are.
I praise Milo "because he's playing a role we like" --- to quote the words you used.
I praise goodness and criticize evil.
I have never praised his perversion. In fact, I have vigorously slammed his glamorization of sexual vice on this very forum.
And others.
There's no hypocrisy in praising those who do good deeds and admonishing those who sin, even if they may be --- as they so often are --- the same people.
BTW, I support Trump, too, even though he's a serial polygamist, had 5 children by three women he's been married to and who knows how many women he schtupped and wasn't married to. (Bragged about it, as well. This didn't come out of the National Perspirer, but out of his own published works.)
I think this behavior is morally reprehensible, but it didn't stop me from voting for the one candidate who could do the One Thing Necessary: stop Hillary.
Trashing a member of your own team to demonstrate your moral righteousness is the official Call of the Cuckservative.
Remember that and you'll spot them easier.
It really is too bad in a virtual civil war, that people on our side would shoot good fighters in the back.
