You summed it up for me as well. After Kapernick and the NFL lockstep hate monging I tuned out the NFL, ESPN and wrote them both a 1/2 dozen times since last September. Now I’ve quit watching college basketball and tuned out everything but my Buckeyes football - and even that is looking like a problem for me because Urban Meyer hired Colin’s QB Coach! Boy I slammed Meyer in an open forum and not one work of dissent against my comments.
I gave up on the NFL this year and I gave up on college football and basketball a couple years ago. As conservatives we need to quit watching college sports and drain their revenue there. Let’s face it our colleges and universities are not supportive of our agenda and don’t deserve our support. If you don’t have a friend or family member playing it’s not that important. If you can give up the NFL and other professional sports you can also give up pseudo-amateur sports and hurt the colleges in the pocketbook.
We like Super girl, until they introduced her sister as a lesbo. Can’t seem to watch anything any more that doesn’t have that crap in it. Same goes for mixed race dating.
I’m awfully picky about what I watch, I don’t like the gratuitous violence, just out and out murders, I’m the mother of a murdered child and it triggers nightmares. Even some history stuff is off limits.l
Perhaps they’re now discovering that people prefer not to be lectured at politically when tuning into sports?
