It makes me think maybe Saddam Hussein should have been kept around for special assignments by the justice system. He had a flair for slow executions, you know.
You couldn’t get 5 real humans to commit such an act of violence. I wouldn’t acknowledge these beast as humans. They cannot cash in their one way ticket to hell soon enough.
Then he waltzes around, protected by a bullet proof vest. My daughter was shot in June of last year. She lost her spleen, but was revived. The preliminary hearing is Monday. No justice, slow justice for the victims. All the protection in the world for the criminals. If the thought of going to prison doesn’t seem to matter, something is wrong with prison.
It looks similar to what I remember seeing, but not exactly. It’s been so long now, I really can’t say one way or the other.
Subhuman garbage!!!
And he's imported thousands more.
Justice moved faster when all you needed was a tree and a rope.
Not oobamas son more likely Satan’s minion
The mom should be cursing Abe Lincoln and the Republican Party for unleashing this never ending hell upon us.
No defense of the animals involved, but cops knew the Central Park jogger and warned her not to go running alone there. She was in absolute denial about what she risked, which was strange considering it was years after the wholesale deterioration/evacuation of whole sections of NYC.
Didn’t they convince some lifer to claim credit for the attack?
The mother (and sister?) defending the perp were speaking in thickly accented English.
I’m surprised Howard Beach doesn’t have a system like a tornado warning where the first resident that sees someone “out of place” can sound the alarm.
Would’ve saved this woman’s life...
As a son of the South I curse Abe Lincoln as policy.
This sounds just like Theodore Dalrymple's prison inmates from 25 years ago.
It sounds as if his parents are setting up a case that he has "special needs" and shouldn't be held responsible. His attorneys will argue for a short sentence because he "just lost it."
I’m angry over this.
Does that mean I can personally string-up the little puke?
I’d vote guilty on the father: Discharging a firearm within city limits. Recommended sentence, another 59 minutes of community service to add to his dramatic first minute of community service.
The DNA evidence was collected at the crime scene, but it didn't match any DNA records on file with the police. So the only way for the police to get a match would be to either: (1) arrest a suspect in this case based on credible evidence, or (2) get lucky and find a match in the system from someone who was recently arrested for an unrelated crime.
So -- based on the news stories here in the NYC area in recent weeks -- here's what transpired in the weeks leading up to this guy's arrest:
1. The victim's family began publicly supporting a "familial DNA" measure in the New York legislature. This would allow the police to search DNA records and find DNA evidence for people who are not an actual suspect in a crime, but appear to be related to him/her.
2. The family was in the news quite a bit in the last couple of weeks. This coincided with the six-month "anniversary" of the victim's murder.
3. A NYC police detective from the local police precinct "suddenly remembered" that they had arrested some miscreant for petty offenses in the park months (or longer) before the murder.
4. They track down the guy's identity from the police records, arrest him, and match the DNA.
I have no doubt that this mutant is the perpetrator, but Item #3 in this list really seems like a suspicious turn of events.
Interesting - same excuse some jerk gave here in San Antonio for killing a kid a few months ago. New wave?
"He's a good boy" or some variation thereof always gets repeated as a mantra whenever black thuggery is in the news. But "humble" is a new one to me. I guess it means that this feral murders and rapes with humility rather than with bravado.
