Not a surprise. The people who run the EU and their allies in the major media outlets are in favor of open borders and Islamic immigration into the West, and are against democratic representative self-government.
If there were a vote on Muslim immigration into Europe, it would be defeated.
The struggle is not so much anymore Marxism vs Free Markets.
It is Globalism vs. Self-Government.
Because on the Globalist side you have not only the statist ‘progressives’, but also the Neocons who understand the superiority of a market economy but still have no use for self-government by nation-states like the USA or Britain because it gets in the way of a global government to ensure borderless trade and cheap labor and a global central banking regime.

So, why are the majority of German voters not getting behind the pro-conservative AfD political party, then? Ditto, all other European countries where the “anti-illegal immigration political parties” are not getting the support of most of the voters?
