Neilsen’s numbers are too low because of streaming, etc.
Was a dull 3 quarters though.
I was streaming it on my laptop. I was mainly just listening and browsing elsewhere until things got interesting.
Streaming was relevant in the previous two super bowels, too, so that in itself is not enough to explain the ratings fail.
As for the blowout during the first 3 quarters, that is most probably a significant factor.
However, word got out that Brady was mounting a comeback, so many who tuned out ended up returning to watch the game.
