I’ve seen the 9th side with conservatives when the case was painfully obvious. They do have to present at least the thinnest facade of being legitimate.
I believe this will be one of those cases. The worst they could do was just not give the immediate reversal. Now that they can claim they’ve had time to “think about it”, they can give us their sane answer.
We’ll see. This is a very important win for the left. I do not have much hope for the 9th doing the right thing.
