I think social media definitely changes the way people think. I’m not sure we were meant to know what friends, family and neighbors think about any given subject instantly and in discrete little blurbs, much less some stranger on the other side of the planet.

We always think technological innovations are positive, especially with respect to information technology. Yet they could have side effects that we are slow to recognize and understand. The “Black Mirror” series brilliantly expounds on this theme.
