Asked about Mr. Trump’s recent reference to the “so-called judge’’ that ruled against the president’s executive order on immigration and refugees, Mr. McConnell again distanced himself from the White House. “I think it’s best not to single out judges for criticism. We all get disappointed from time to time … but I think it’s best to avoid criticizing judges individually,’’ he said.
Mr. McConnell also poured cold water on the pledge by Mr. Trump to launch a national investigation of voter fraud. The president has claimed, without evidence, that millions of people voted fraudulently in the presidential election. If there’s going to be a probe of possible voter fraud, Mr. McConnell said, that should be handled by the states. “I don’t think we ought to spend any federal money investigating that,’’ he said. “We ought to leave that at the state level.’’

I could be wrong, but I believe our democracy is teetering on the brink.

mcconnel and his type are so immersed in self-preservation, money and power that they seemingly hate the American people. What a mess.
I agree it’s best not to use certain wording but president Trump
Is 100000 percent right on the law ( and policy imho) and the judge was 1000000 percent wrong. McConnell should really emphasize this in any statements — instead of the very minor quibble or opinion about the wording. When McConnell or others do this kind of waffle talk instead of speaking to the main points - they are weak and they look very unreliable to me.
THey realize it. It IS their plan.
Was just having an argument a few days ago with someone who was convinced McConnell was doing a great job.
This is the McConnell I’ve come to know and dislike intensely.

Crotch eyed McConnell has been a traitor for a long time and I bet he vists Comet Pizza whenever he’s in D.C He always done just enough to fool the people into believing he’s on the right side for a bit then stabs them into the back everytime there’s money to be made or Muzzies to import for donations then straightens back again. He needs to be kicked to the curb for good.

It's a federal election. The people of the country have an interest to make sure that the voting process in all states isn't corrupt.
At this point, with people like McConnell in power, and with the media in full anti American propaganda mode, I'm just not seeing a high likelihood that the swamp will be drained.

I've noticed he seems to be good at fooling people in his home state. Dare to leave their grandson alone with him for any amount of time. He just has "that look".
McConnell’s instincts are anti-American. When does he ever great it right the first time he’s asked about a new development?
