Whiners in general might be boycotting the league. But probably most of them were never actually watching the NFL anyway so they really aren’t boycotting, they just want people to be impressed by them not watching.
The leftists do this as a matter of routine. It is called “virtue signaling”.
It means you don’t have to do anything but pass hot gas through your mouth, but you let everyone know you are down with the cause, whatever it is.
