The judge opens up our country to potential terrorists and others that do not have our best interests at heart. Bad people are very happy!

Why is the executive branch allowing itself to be put on hold?

Waiting for the Gorsuch confirmation, perhaps.

And to think that lawyers don’t have a clue why they’re held in so little esteem by we,the “great unwashed”

There will be more attacks. I hope it’s carried out by people who come in while this is being fought in the courts.

I also hope a LE agency is digging into this judge’s past. He was appointed by Bush. He’s got to be as dirty as Roberts.

Feds have exclusive domain over immigration,

Why has DHS surrendered then? This has already been ruled on, so why is anybody listening to this judge? Why are they letting these terrorists into the country?

The Judge is just continuing what Obama did for 8 years

#44 staffed the judicial branch to take over when he left the WH.

2 to the SCOTUS

55 to Courts of Appeals

268 to District Courts

4 to United States Court of International Trade (Article III)

8 to United States Tax Court

3 to United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims

2 to United States Court of Military Commission Review

3 to United States Court of Federal Claims

2 to United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces

2 to Territorial courts (Article IV) Wkiki source https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_federal_judges_appointed_by_Barack_Obama

Agreed. Then why did the President buckle to this decision, in fact recognizing the authority that is his alone actually belongs to any left wing judge that can be found on a short shopping trip ?

Trump is going to have to think outside the box..because he will lose 9th circuit opinion..and he is missing one scotus judge. Not sure what he can do...but hope he comes up with something

Not a lawyer here, but I think many are misunderstanding where this issue stands legally.

The Seattle nut job judge did not rule on the constitutionality of the EO. That is yet to be adjudicated. What the judge has done is stop enforcement of the EO based on his opinion that the plaintiffs will likely succeed, and not stopping enforcement immediately would cause irreversible harm.

So, what is at stake currently, is not a ruling on the constitutionality of the EO, but rather overruling the injunction before arguments are actually heard in the case.

So sad, I always said that every military personnel who returns from Iraq should be a coffin nail for islam, never taking into account they wouldn’t be allowed to speak. That man’s testimony can be repeated thousands of times, but we will never hear of it. They are expected to suffer in mutilated silence.
There is no lie too disgusting, no atrocity the left won’t hide to keep the truth about islam from being known. It was the same with communism, wasn’t it? While the Bolsheviks slaughtered and starved millions, the press wrote glowing stories about Stalin and the prosperity of the Soviets.
McCarthy was right. And there shouldn’t be a koran or a mosque anywhere in a western country.
The koran is nothing but an instruction book for genocide. Ask a million dead Armenians.

“Why has DHS surrendered then? This has already been ruled on, so why is anybody listening to this judge? Why are they letting these terrorists into the country?”

This is what has me concerned. Is Trump getting bad advice and telling DHS to go along with the bogus ruling or is the DHS acting independently?

IMO, whoever is advising Trump on this BS ‘legal’ matter made a huge mistake.

The judge’s opinion flat out contradicts a United States Supreme Court decision authored by the late great Justice Scalia

If only our generation and the two generations behind us had stood up for the fact that SCOTUS exists to interpret existing law, not make law.

Thanks for the link,.....would be great to get the first few pages on this thread....particularly where it is mentioned that Justice Kennedy signed on to this opinion!

As I read it!

Read the Constitution....At the moment the ruling is constitutional....but I don't believe it will survive the Supreme court review...see the link at #52.

See the link at #52.

Great stuff within the first few pages....including the fact that justice Kennedy joined the Scalia ruling!

Glad you like it. Feel free to post it. It really undercuts the federal district court judge’s order. And it involved a much stronger case where a US citizen (wife) was trying to get her husband (to whom a visa was already issued) and the visa was yanked and denied entry to come to the U.S.

No acknowledgement is needed.
