Isn’t Wilders in prison and on trial for “hate” speech? I believe he was found guilty but did not receive any punishment. Appeared to be a typical political trial designed to reduce his popularity without making a martyr of him. Didn't work out like planned.

And in the end the expulsions were a good idea, it helped to keep the peace after the war. The alternative would have been many of them being slaughtered out of revenge.

If Wilders wins, that could be the death blow to the EU. It would start an unstoppable domino effect.
Wilder needs an absolute majority to win. Very difficult but not impossible.
And you are right, if he performs that very difficult feat it will have repercussions across the continent.
