Good morning, Everyone.
Good morning to our
AWESOME
Military, our Allies, and their families.
Thank you, fatima, for preparing
the Canteen for today's activities.
Gotta post and run;
woke late and now the day is passing me by.
So, wishing y'all a safe and enjoyable weekend.
And, during travels to/from Super Bowl.
Please stay...
chat up the troops and their families.
Wishing you all a happy and peaceful weekend.
Now remember, the Canteen is ALWAYS open
for our Military, Allies, and families.Come in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea,
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS
REMEMBER THEM
DEFENDERS OF FREEDOM

((HUGS))Good morning, Beach. Enjoy your Weekend. See you soon.
It would probably be similar to the reaction of his contemporary Hoagy Carmichael, whose best known composition is "Stardust," which he wrote in the 1920's and which was performed and recorded by dozens of acts over the subsequent decades. Shortly before he died in 1981, Carmichael speculated that had he written "Stardust" in the 1980's instead of the 1920's, he would not have been able to sell it to anyone.
Ahhh,yes,Hoagy.
He was an actor in a lot of the movies that I saw as a kid-——I remember how surprised I was when I find out that he also wrote songs.:-)
And then there’s Johnny Mercer.
(Sigh)-—memories.

If a yellow flag is fluttering
Sickly herald against the morn
Then you’ll know my courage has ended
And you’ll send your boat ashore
But if a red flag is flying
Brazen bold against the blue
Then you’ll know that I am staying
And my yacht belongs to you
How about The Unicorn Song by the Irish Rovers?
Good one, Jinxy! Didn’t even think of that! :)
“Its cool here but war”

Hi Luv.
Many options with this title. I will choose
“Red Barchetta” by Rush https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAvQSkK8Z8U and “Green Manalishi” by Judas Priest ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SgnOJXIvu6s ).
Sorry Fatima, I am used to responding to “Luv W” in similar threads.
