Travis County, Texas, Judge Sarah Eckhardt decided to hold on to her pink ‘p***y hat’ after the Women’s March and wear the feminist symbol proudly in her courtroom. The act raised serious impartiality questions by many.

The incident occurred when a post appeared on the Austin subreddit that featured Judge Eckhardt wearing the hat in court.

After thousands of women sported the hats at the Women’s Marches across the country on January 21, the hat has stirred up controversy among many that see it as a symbol of division.

Nope

If I was a lawyer for a white male defendant, no way would I let him be tried in that court

Travis County amounts to nothing more than a boil on the back of the Great State of Texas.

The hat is not the problem. The problem is the vast empty space beneath the hat.

I suggest she has disqualified herself as a judge.
Putting forth a feminist political statement in court would seem to indicate a bias in favor of women over men.

This libidiot holds no judicial powers. She is a judge in name only. She is just an overpaid county administrator for county commissioners.

Absolutely unethical. She should be censured if not recalled if not debarred. Maybe all three. It is a fundamental violation of judicial neutrality. We know the reaction if she’d worn a Trump hat or an NRA hat. But the media just find this to be kind of cute.

If I am a male and she rules against me I would appeal it asap as she has clearly shown she is biased toward women and against men. What an idiot.
