As a break-out from SDS so many years ago, I too thought (waayyy back then) that we were headed for a black/white civil war.

I too stepped aside and spent years being a working class hero and rearing five kids with one wife under the wing of My Savior.

I don't have the fear you have, but I have the academic understanding of your words.

Were it not for a few other events and people happening on the planet today, I might come to the same conclusion, but todays global events are 180 degrees out from that (IMO)

The sixties was a terrific movie about mass hysteria.

Everyone had the same uniform/costume and adopted the same viewpoint.

All across the globe; USA, Russia, Spain, France, Germany, Japan, Australia ... ANY where a relatively intelligent and educated social and political structure could be found you would find denim clad hippy types, smokin' dope protesting U.S. involvement in Viet Nam.

It was phenominal to those that were aware of what they were seeing and experiencing.

That does not exist now.

If anything, powerful world leaders are lining up to join a "take back my nation" movement and the activism is localized to a neighborhood, primarily BECAUSE there is no national or international movement.

The International movement for the past few decades has been for Globalism and world government. What is happening now is that the Nation States have awakened, and are rebelling against the unelected Bureaucratic organizations that have usurped their sovereignty and led to degradation and ruin of their societies.

These riots in the USA are truly the death throes of Globalists and their facist socialism. It reeks of the typical agit/prop of the old KGB style. However, due to the mis-education of a number of people stemming back to the Chicano movement, there are a large number of illegal invaders and anchor babies that are convinced that about 8 states rightly belong to Mexico.

If the Cal-exit Movement to become a Nation under the UN fails, then I expect that the shooting will start, as the gang members and Cartel are part of the movement, and have plenty of guns and have expressed a desire to just drive out the descendants of the European invaders. Cal-exit was previously known as yes California, and may be changing their name again. Check the SOS website for petitions. Many California politicians are behind this too. Sedition is it not?
