It is, and it’s criminal how our political class has let it metastasize.
I first became aware of it when a legal immigrant engineer living in what is now a million dollar OC house brought elderly relatives here and got them on some form of social security and into taxpayer subsidized housing.
The ability to do this is very well known in the immigrant community, just as how to game other parts of the welfare system is known to virtually every illegal alien.
The only people who don’t know about all of this are everyday Americans, the ones who are footing the bill to import all of these people.
And the MSM does nothing to cover this.

ALL Soc Sec recipients got only .3% increase in 2017 from Obama.
However, Obama gave ALL Fed employees a 2.1% raise in 2017 ..... 7 TIMES what Soc Sec recipients got.
Federal employees by and large vote Democratic, whereas old people and veterans vote Republican. Do the math.
Yes they are... although some other denominations are on the take as well... But, it was W Bush that hooked up 'faith' based charities to tax payers dollars... Nancy Pewlouise, Boehner, and lying Ryan took full advantage of 'we the people'... Not one of them upheld their oath of office to protect and defend our Constitution... They all serve their masters the US Catholic Bishops, with our tax dollars.
Have that right. What was meant to get the product to the needy and not in the hands of dictators, back fired big time. We are reaping the dubious ‘rewards’.

Just heard that the Hispanic illegal community has slowed their personal commerce to a crawl everywhere.
The little under the table jobs are going away.
Nobody is buying anything in that community, they are saving all their money for fear of being deported.
Those with anchor children are going to notarys so they have a back up power of attorney plan for their children should they be deported.
They know action is coming and are very scared.
