“Federal unions were created by Kennedy by Executive Order. They can just as easily be eliminated by Executive Order.”

I thought they came to be under LBJ. But, if they were created by EO, as you say, then maybe Trump will rescind it with an EO of his own! Winning!

Arrest them. Then fire them.

Or Fire them. Then do the paperwork afterwards.

Reduce their pay. Have them fight tooth and nail to get it back.

Freeze their assets. Make their life very uncomfortable. Then force them out.

Don’t fire them. Laythem off with no pay. But keep them on the books.

Come on ya-all. We all have lived through the upsizing, down-sizing and layoffs of the 1980s, the 1990’s, and the 2000s. None of these panty-waists had that glorious experience.

I am sure THE DONALD can think of ways to accomplish this task.

Robert, the Holman rule has been reactivated. Federal bureaucrats can be eliminated under this rule. Read about it here:

As part of its broader package of rules for the 115th Congress, the House of Representatives revived the Holman Rule, a provision that allows House members to propose amendments to spending bills that closely manage federal agencies. These “retrenchment” amendments can affect details down to individual federal salaries and the number of staff in an office.

Dr. Mr. Trump.

Start firing these people. As you Cabinet heads take office, have them start an interview/employee-discussion session with middle management. Send out the message that “insubordination” in any form will not be tolerated. Start changing the regulations regarding firing civil servants for cause.

It has been said that up to 30% of the civilian federal workers think they may resign rather than work for Trump. If that is how they feel then send them on their way as quickly as possible and replacement with people who want to work.

Diametrically opposed is a philosophical thing.

Diabolically opposed is one the edge of getting arrested.

“So long as the signatories, having communicated their opinions about a policy, dutifully act to carry out any legal orders, when the final decision has been made — then allowing them to express their opinions is a healthy thing.”

Ideally. But practically and actually, when a person has signed anything counter to what the organization’s management is doing, the signer is marked forever more. He will move to the “troublemaker” class and future work life in that organization most likely will be a living hell. As a retired H.R. employee I’ve seen it happen to many people.

Fire them, of course.

If they use company time, company resources (even a single paper clip), government lawyers on the company time, to politically and socially vent their spleens, then fire them and eliminate their positions. The same would happen to any of us deplorables in our jobs, in the real world.

If a gubmint employee has all that free time, at work, to commit treason and sedition, all the while being paid by us deplorable citizen taxpayers, then they A) must not have really needed their jobs and B) their positions must not have been all that necessary in the first place. Small government through attrition.

Drain the swamp!

As to union=

Just pass an edict that the dues will no longer be deducted by the Government, let the Union run around collecting dues every couple of weeks or so

AND

Have strict ‘crackdown’ on visitors or having people ‘solicit’ payments while on the clock.

Why does one think that the Govt ‘forces’ your employer to withhold your taxes, and other deductions.

Get that hundred or so in your hand every payday and it will get harder and harder to turn around and write a check...

getting fired from a federal workers union job is a lot tougher than it sounds.

I think it's about to get much easier.

Trump should kill off the government workers unions altogether by rescinding Kennedy’s EO #10988

They diabolically oppose Trump’s actions? Probably, but I think the author meant “diametrically”

Diabolic: Related to or coming from the devil (diabolos).

In this case, either one probably works just fine.

I’ll have to see it work before I get excited. They are not known for things that actually work in the government.

Eliminating those 180 jobs is not much compared to our annual deficit, but it’s a start.

Probably can’t fire them unless they are directly insubordinate - stupid union rules. Probably have to declare a RIF and eliminate their jobs.

I mean once a competent person is in charge.

The VA is an example of people not doing their jobs, but the people at the top are ALSO not doing their job.
