A Detroit man said he wasn't allowed to bring his mother back to America after she was visiting family in Iraq.
Mike Hager told news station WJBK in Detroit his 75-year-old mother, Naimm,a fell ill during the visit to Iraq, prompting him to return to America.

Let’s give an “A” to the Chronicle for finding the best sob story so far about the “Muslim ban.” Trump killed the poor woman, just like Romney gave that guy cancer in 2012. Its as if Trump strangled the poor elderly woman with his own hands while shouting “Make America Great Again” and then laughing maniacally.

Seems ‘they’ were protesting on the freeway and had all lanes blocked and the 3rd ambulance sent to get her couldn’t get through because of the protestors.

His mother was brought to a hospital and died within 24 hrs. If she had been allowed on the plane she probably would have died on board. How long is the flight from Iraq to the US? It has to be close to 24 hrs.

I think that this one was allowed to remain because the one earlier referred to the man as a "veteran", when he was not .. basically, he was just a contractor .. and, I believe, that it came from a questionable source (more questionable, I guess, than the San Fran Chronicle).
Questions have been raised about the validity of Mike Hager’s claims that his mother died while waiting for approval to come to Michigan. FOX 2 news is working to resolve the questions about Hager’s story. We’ll update this page with further details.
