I’ll be good, as always. It will be interesting to watch you guys whine when the first ruling doesn’t go your way. Sorry, I’ve been following the SC long before you discovered it existed.

Well you don’t sound good. You sound kindof, well NeverTrumper.

I know you’re sorry. You don’t need to tell me.

I won’t be whining. I’ll be blaming the justice who makes the bad call as I always do.

You’ll be trying to shaft Trump to prove what a poor choice he was. We’ll just laugh at you again, when the time comes.

Though Judge Gorsuch’s maternal side of the family is Irish Catholic, he is an Episcopalian. But there already are 5 Catholic Justices, so we can use a token Protestant. : )

But seriously, I think that this was an excellent choice by President Trump. Judge Gorsuch will be confirmed without much of a filibuster attempt, and SCOTUS will return to being Justice Kennedy’s personal plaything ... until either Ginsburg, Kennedy or Breyer leave an opening ....

See, that's where you display your lack of knowledge. I will defend Trump's nominee when you fair-weather conservatives jump the boat.

If they rule from the Left, of course you’ll defend them. Who said you wouldn’t.

We will demand they remain faithful to the U.S. Constitution.

You betray yourself post after post...

They approved him before.

Republicans had approved Garland before.

They’ll just go through the power drama and he will be easily approved.

They'll go through the filibuster and Gorsuch will probably be approved eventually. But it won't be easy.

A 4/4 court is good for neither side.

We've survived the past year.

What comes first? This confirmation or the tax cuts?

Thanks.

Well, just to provide an Executive Summary to others who might be interested despite your confusion: supply-side conservative in the mold of Ronald Reagan. Come visit an econ thread now and then, you might learn something.

Well, we have learned that you know nothing about economics. I mean, your postings are on the level of a pizza delivery boy.

Well, 1rudeboy says otherwise, and he says if we go to an ‘econ’ thread we’ll learn something. We should send Trump to get educated from the pimply-faced teenager.

Neil McGill Gorsuch

looks like nobody has done much with the McGill ancestry.

per 1875 NY Census, John McGill, born 1832 Ireland and wife, Mary born Ireland. Troy, NY. Mason builder. died and left Mary a widow with 10 children. One son was Joseph. 2 oldest sons were working.

John’s grandson was the doctor (grandfather of Neil Gorsuch)
