12 Senate Democrats are being targeted by Republicans in 2018: Ten of these Democrats are from strong Trump Republican states:
Florida Bill Nelson (D) Indiana Joe Donnelly (D) Michigan Debbie Stabenow (D) Missouri Claire McCaskill (D) Montana Jon Tester (D) New Jersey Bob Menendez (D) North Dakota Heidi Heitkamp (D) Ohio Sherrod Brown (D) Pennsylvania Bob Casey (D) Virginia Tim Kaine (D) West Virginia Joe Manchin (D) Wisconsin Tammy Baldwin (D)
These Democrats are sitting members on the Senate Finance Committee:
Ron Wyden, Oregon, Ranking Member Debbie Stabenow, Michigan Maria Cantwell, Washington Bill Nelson, Florida Bob Menendez, New Jersey Tom Carper, Delaware Ben Cardin, Maryland Sherrod Brown, Ohio Michael Bennet, Colorado Bob Casey, Pennsylvania Mark Warner, Virginia Claire McCaskill, Missouri
On Tuesday Democrats on the Senate Finance Committee sought to stall the confirmations of Steven Mnuchin and Tom Price, President Trumps picks for Treasury secretary and secretary of health and human services, by skipping the committee hearing.
They would rather play politics than show up to do the job they were paid to do.
2018 cant get here fast enough!

Ping...
McCaskill won’t run she knows it is over for her
The demondogs in those 10 seats need to go down to defeat in 2018.
Been looking for those lists
Encourage all to call
202-224-2131
Just ask for senate and the state they are from
Keep your message short and to the point
Be polite but firm
The committee chairs are Republican. If the Dem members don’t show up, why does that delay the process? What constitutes a quorum to just proceed without them?
Coming after you. Can’t wait to donate to their opponent...can’t wait. Better save this thread OP. I’m serious. I don’t care if they behave themselves from here on out we need to get rid of them in 2018.
I would encourage TV ads on these gutless wonders! Let them know to order their packing boxes early.
To have a quorum you need one democrat along with all the Republicans. However, they can skip the committee and go straight to the floor vote.
btt
Then that is what should be happening.

Heard someone on TV say today that republicans would have to have one democrat present in order to have a vote.... so all the demoRATs walked.
There is a milk carton with pictures of the democrats who walked out today over on the TT thread.
Let me find it again
Nelson (FL) is on thin ice down here. Useless Senator, just a place-holder.
...yet another Cream of Nothing soup...voted in by the duped.
Here in Pennsylvania I hope a strong Republican will soon announce he/she will run against Robert Casey, who is a do nothing Senator, who ran on his Fathers coat tails...He truly is worthless...
To hear Schumer pontificate about how it’s the ‘rats duty to thoroughly vet and then advise and consent on these nominees and that’s why their confirmations are taking so long, then see these buffoons skip hearings so that votes can’t be taken and the confirmations delayed, should make anyone with more than half a brain in his head livid......
And .. by going straight to the VOTE - do they still need a “quorum” ..???
If not .. then JUST VOTE AND TELL THE DEMS THEY ARE ONLY HURTING THEMSELVES. THEY BETTER ENJOY THEIR LAST TERM IN GOVT BECAUSE IN 2018, THEY WILL NOT BE IN CONGRESS ANYMORE.
C’MON .. FIND YOUR FEET AND YOUR VOICE ..!!!!!!!
Republicans will never show the strength to go to the floor vote. We have a real problem with these soft core Republicans.
