Weiner is a hardened criminal.
If he is put on trial, it will be long and drawn out.
The climax of the trial will be the judges sentence: a gallows should be erected for him, so he can be hung.
If he is not executed, then we can only hope the pen is where he will be forced to do hard time.
“The climax of the trial will be the judges sentence: a gallows should be erected for him, so he can be hung.”
Afterwards, interest in the story may sag and drip.
From the evidence we’ve seen, Weiner is not much of a hardened criminal at all. He’s just a lay about ne’er-do-well with flaccid morals. The judge needs to see if she can get Weiner up on the stand, because his oral testimony will either peter out or explode in his face. If the charges are drooped, Weiner may rise in the public estimation again. Otherwise, he’s screwed.
