Charlie Daniels: America Isn’t Just Divided–It’s Fragmented to Pieces
cnsnews.com ^ | 1/31/2017 | Charlie Daniels

There is a growing attitude of "everything we believe is right and everything you believe is wrong," and even when there is equity on both sides of an issue the animosity has gotten so pervasive that opposing views are rarely even considered by the other side.

The common phrase is that "America is divided," but I beg to differ. America is actually fragmented into pieces racially, socially, politically, philosophically and fiscally, and every group that tries to put on a united face is actually made up of dissidents with their own personal ax to grind, ranging from the moderates to the radicals, from those who actually believe in the cause they are espousing to those just along for the ride, the window breakers and car burners.

Thank you Mr. Daniels. Yup. These "instant" protests nationwide and the x-(p)resident urging them on as a good community organizer would and the chief loser from the last election also inserting her commentary results in them losing support. At least in my opinion. Even though they get the coverage, I'm pretty certain that they are really staring to PO a lot of folks. Not like the lyin' king opposition riots from '08 and '12. More than likely because conservatives had to get up and go to work. Most divisiveness I can remember in my nearly 70 years.

And I’m pretty sure whO is responsible for the fragmentation.

Wise words from Charlie. I imagine the country looked much like this in the years leading up to the civil war.

Well yeah. If Trump/putin hadn’t cheated his way into the white house, none of this trouble would be happening. Right? liblogic 101. ;-)

The UniParty Globalists in both Parties are still marching in lock step. A lot of them right here on Free Republic.

“America is actually fragmented into pieces racially, socially, politically, philosophically and fiscally, and every group that tries to put on a united face is actually made up of dissidents with their own personal ax to grind, ranging from the moderates to the radicals, from those who actually believe in the cause they are espousing to those just along for the ride, the window breakers and car burners.”

In looking back at the weekend, I came away with a couple of thoughts. All of those “fragmented pieces” were all asking for the same thing. They didn’t want government telling them what they can and cannot do. They are against fascism and want to be left alone so they can love and not hate.

Cut to Trump’s inaugural speech. His speech was about taking America back from the political class and giving it back to the people. That Trump was President of all people and not one class. That there are laws that protect us and need to be followed.

It sounded to me like everything that was being protested, Trump supported. So, why the hatred of Trump? You would think based on his speech, the protesters would be happy that they finally have a President who supports all their concerns. But no. Why?

What I think it is important for Americans to know is who is organizing and leading these protests. There is a group of people from each of these organizations talking to each other and from there it is going to someone else. We know Soros is involved, but there is more to it than that. We need to link all of this together and then get it out in the open. Expose these organizations and their leadership. Make America hate them. That’s how we win the war.

I have nothing in common with the overwhelming number of foreigners I see around me. I didn’t invite them, I never asked for them, and I don’t want them here.

I am not going to unite with any low IQ third world dirt worshippers.

I hear you. I turn 66 this year and I’ve never seen the country so polarized. I fear it has reached the point where any reconciliation is no longer possible.

“Wise words from Charlie. I imagine the country looked much like this in the years leading up to the civil war.”

Actually, this is much worse, because the division is — as Charlie said — a complete fracture: It is easier to put back together two pieces and restore it to normalcy, but it is near impossible to put back the farrago we’ve become and have it resemble anything remotely close to normalcy.

1) Get Sessions in

2) Go after the $ funding “dissent” (riots, murder) on racketeering and other charges, no matter how celebrated (e.g. Norman Lear, various lib heirs to millions)

we can find something we desperately need: Common ground.
Reasons to believe. Reasons to get along.

************

Nicely penned article and sentiments, but the Left is just not interested in rationality, comity, or unity. They are, and always will be, radicals.

Newt Gingrich accurately described liberalism as a psychosis. You simply cannot reason with them. They are immune to logic, facts, and the lessons of history.

They condone, and even champion, the window breakers and car burners. There is no getting along with them.

The American people are now seeing how unhinged the Left truly is and will hopefully turn their backs on them.

I fear it has reached the point where any reconciliation is no longer possible.

The only upside of that is our side has the guns and the courage. It won't be a long fight.

Unfortunately and regrettably I have to agree and as much as I would like to, as time goes by I do not see any improvement if anything I do believe it only will get worse. The attempt for globalization and trying to make everything and everyone equal just is not going to fly, at least not for the foreseeable future.

The journey from Leftism back to reality is much longer than it used to be. I fear many of our Millennials - absent a generation-changing, WWII-like, common hardship experience - will not become strong enough to survive it.

The DOJ needs to investigate Soros. The congress needs to investigate him as well. Time for Mr. Soro’s to be dragged out of the shadows.

“A house divided against itself cannot stand.

..............................

I do not expect the Union to be dissolved — I do not expect the house to fall — but I do expect it will cease to be divided.

It will become all one thing or all the other. “

I post this often to remind us all of history.
