Some fear Kelly may not be worth the bucks since her Fox replacement Tucker Carlson nearly doubled her ratings on Fox News after her departure.
We hear MSNBC anchor Joy Reid may also be on the chopping block.
“They haven’t renewed her contract. She’s been working without a contract for at least a month,” an insider told us.
An MSNBC spokesperson, however, insisted that Reid “is working under contract. And the network wants her to stay.”
A rep for NBC said, “The only thing Andy Lack is interested in ‘tilting toward’ is even more good journalism.”

To practice good journalism, all that is needed is to report the other side... that will bring out the facts, and that’s what makes good journalism... not facts as I interpret them

Yes, it is amazing, but it’s a common malady of the MSM. As fewer and fewer subscribers support them, they question their style rather than their partisan message.
What would the impact be if they didn’t try to spin, liberal or conservative, and delivered it straight? Wouldn’t there be a positive result? This is done often on local news and it’s totally refreshing.
Okay they can start by firing Megyn Kelly.

I remember during the Clinton Impeachment, MSNBC was one of the most dogged, hardhitting groups.

Megyn Kelly is toxic. NBC is still in recovery mode after the Brian Williams fake news scandal. The answer to your question is that they don't seem to have thinking skills.

This would be a good business move. By moving to the center, NBC would reposition itself in the market and, not only that, it would bring some balance to journalism. It and Fox would be in the center, CBS and ABC to the left. Journalism would still be tilted to the left, but less so than today.
All they need is Dan Rather

NBC might try asking CONSERVATIVES what our issue is with them (and the others) rather than throwing darts against the wall (like hiring Kelly) and hoping one of them sticks. If they had simply done that, they would have saved themselves 10s of millions of dollars. She is simply TAINTED MEAT to us Trump supporters, way past her due date.
...but thankfully they didn’t, because Fox would have ended up keeping her (they also made her a high offer) - Fox needs to do their own viewership survey once in a while too.
