Near the end of his over hour-long speech, Adler went off script for a moment to remind those in the city his stance on immigrants coming to Austin.
“In this community, they should feel welcome and safe,” said Adler.
Prior to that, he said last year Austin accepted 600 refugees from Iran, Syria and Afghanistan; most of them women and children. He anticipated another over 600 refugees in the city this year, and said almost one in four Austinites weren’t born in the U.S.

Since these criminal illegal invaders flooded into my city, safe is not a word I would use to describe my neighborhood. There’s been rapes, drunk driving, robberies and murders thanks to them, including one who tried to murder two cops across the street from my home, a Central American who’d been in the country unmolested during most of the time Dubya was President through to Zero. It’s a shame neither of them was interested in keeping America safe for Americans from people that hold utter contempt for our basic laws.
Might as well, since Austin is overrun with lefty Californian refugees escaping the mess they made in their home state.
And the legal citizens of Austin should feel safe from illegal immigrants.

Did that “compassionate” mayor bother asking the residents what they thought of his ideas? Being Austin, I guess that’s a rhetorical question.. BUT aside from Austin, do any city officials ever bother to find out how the residents feel about their policies? Clearly not enough residents showing up at City Council meetings.. We all need to remember that! I guess it shows in the ballot box and hopefully, it will for these clowns.

More likely he’ll settle down in the desert in CA - according to rumors since summer of 2016. Will they continue their FAMILY TRADITION of spending Christmas in HI? They always said that was their winter vacation spot before they went to the WH. That’s what they claimed but I never believed it.

Did a project down in San Antonio a few years back, stayed in a motel south of the city. The exit from the parking lot went onto a southbound one-way street.
I was leaving the motel one evening to meet up with some coworkers. As I prepared to exit, the desk clerk warned me "Be very careful when pulling out onto the street." I asked him why, but all he said was "the cars can be fast."
One of the other guests came up to me and said, "he can't tell you, but I will; it's the illegals. They think if they drive around at night, drunk as a skunk, with their lights out the cops can't spot 'em. They cause more accidents that way, and when they do, they just ditch their cars and run away."
Sure enough, as I looked up the one way road, I spotted on coming my way - lights off, sailing down the road. I let him pass before pulling out.

The word that leaps to my mind is “vigilante.”

We don’t accept being surrogate supporters of another country’s citizens, it’s hard enough to carry our own.
The mayors and governors making these statements should be arrested immediately and put in federal prison wearing orange jumpsuits while waiting trial. Then let the MSM interview them on tv. Trump could subsequently tweet that they were arrested for failure to enforce federal law.
Set up a detention center outside Zuckerberg’s HI estate.
