Google has recalled around 100 of its affected staff from overseas. Microsoft has warned its shareholders that curbs on immigration could have a material impact on its business.

The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee advised nationals from the affected countries but living in the US not to travel abroad.

So they can’t work from home, or via the internet on projects...they have to work from some US address?

Perhaps Google should pack up and leave the US for maybe...well...Germany?

Maybe Google could offer software development scholarships to trade schools, community colleges, and inner city colleges to develop homegrown workers.

Google loses all that great talent from Iran, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Sudan, Somalia and Libya.

Who'd a thunk?

Hope all are blocked at the border and all H1B and L1 visas and green cards from these countries, actually from everyone, are rescinded and people kept out or kicked out. Period.

Here is more on this, which I noted a few minutes ago in another thread: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/01/28/google-calls-staffers-back-to-us-after-trump-order-on-immigration-report-says.html

Yeah, right. They have an Indian CEO who’s loyalties are with India, not the US. Shame on Google.

This is #FakeNews - if they’re citizens and they’re there, they got there with US Passports and will use the same passports to come home. Crock of bull. As an aside, Google has employees in Libya that are from the USA? Really?

Maybe they could hire middle aged heterosexual white males, who sent us to the moon with less computing power than the average smartphone.

“Google has told the BBC it is concerned about the order and any measures which could block great talent from the US.”

“Great talent.”

Blowing things up? Chopping off heads? Mass shootings in nightclubs?

“Google has told the BBC it is concerned about the order and any measures which (could) block great talent from the US.”

All journalists should have the word "Could" removed from their inventory of prose. That one word makes any entire story useless. There could be catastrophic climate change...........There could be sea level changes............There could be an end to polar bear pack ice.

Now I never heard that the Benghazi compound attack "could" have been due to a video? I heard it "was" because of a video which "was" critical of Islam...

My first thought, so their arguments is totally worthless.

Companies are loyal to profits and owners; that is why they were scouring the world looking for cheap labor to begin with.
