President Trump is seeking to slash the number of workers at the Environmental Protection Agency by at least half, leaving it significantly gutted as the administration mulls further cuts, the former head of Trump's EPA transition team said Friday.
"Let's aim for half and see how it works out, and then maybe we'll want to go further," Myron Ebell said now that he has returned to his position as director of the Center for Energy and Environment at the Competitive Enterprise Institute. Ebell left the Trump transition team a week ago.
Ebell told the Associated Press that Trump is likely to seek significant reductions in the agency's 15,000-person work force. Slashing half of the work force would leave 7,500 at the agency, which would dramatically reduce its capacity to move out regulations quickly.

If he just deflates these agencies by half, it will be so easy for the Dems to just inflate them right back when they eventually return to power.
They have to be dismantled, with all powers regulated back to the states except those specifically enumerated to the federal gov’t, as it says in the Constitution.
“I am hoping that I can soon buy a normal gas can again, instead of those abysmal things that the EPA forced upon us.”
I get mine in Canada. They have great ones, not the old kind, better.

I hate the EPA right along with the rest but the people to tell is the lazy a$$ Congress who has empowered this org to right regulations (or should we say laws) with out due representation. These are the people who should be kicked to the curb by Trump and chastised to the max.

Add this to his order for government agencies to err on the side of the People when they decide to sue/fine/penalize us, (because the government can be wrong too and shouldn’t be uber oppressive just because it can), and we have a hell of a start...

QuikTrip gas stations have a large presence in my area and have recently begun selling ethanol free fuel. Cost 50 cents per gallon more, but well worth it IMO.
Truck gets 1/2 mile more mpg, and I’ll save some of the money in maintenance since I tend to drive my Fords till the wheels fall off.

Where I live we have stations that carry 91 Octane gas that is not adulterated with corn liquor. My chainsaws, weed whacker and assorted other two strokes thank me for using it.

Yeah, ethanol fuel is murder on small engines. Home Depot sells premixed, ethanol free 2 cycle fuel for 20$ per gallon. I mix it myself for $3.
