All I can think of is he must be some kind of wizard behind the scenes and an expert on rules - in other words - a technical guru as it applies to running the Senate because publicly, he is neither inspirational nor interesting and I am being kind.
I understand the type of job McConnell has is a thankless task and most people don't want to do it. You get blamed for everything, but still, there are others in the Senate who can do the job.
