We are not the opposition, Stephen Engelberg, editor in chief of the nonprofit news organization ProPublica, wrote in an email. We are part of an essential function in any democracy.”
And the press has abdicated that responsibility with their incompetence and agenda. They should report facts and not proselytize.
IMHO, it’s government schools.
Reminds me of the Hillary campaign narrative.
For months, all we hear is “Trump is Hitler”. Then in the final weeks the narrative shifts to “Trump must release his tax returns”. No wonder the dumb witch lost.
kick em in the teeth, until our country is back on strong foundation..this will take at least 2 years while we have the congress to get started..everyday, kick in teeth, shove the agenda through, who cares what dems want..pound em in the sand until our folks who died and spilled blood for this country smile, and God winks again on this nation formed by God to support Israel and declare the way of Christ as the only path to God.
The same media cheerleaded for Obama for 8 years and spent the past election actively campaigning for Hillary.
In the end the MSM ends up looking like elementary in their reporting, No facts, just Fake stuff.
Wouldn't you like to see President Trump's brain work as he strategizes. And a camera to record the despair on the face of MSM as they sit in their cubicle wondering what Train hit them.
Good question - What were all the other POTUS's doing with their time in office? If Trump can do this much in 5 days.
Scott Adams is always worth a read. I first learned about him through a post by LS sometime during the campaign. I’ve enjoyed reading Adams all through the campaign.
Some of what Adams writes is tongue in cheek, and I also think he knows that much of his readership is on the left, so he does not want to antagonize them. I don’t consider him to be fully in our camp, but he may be bridging some truth over to the leftists who read him.
Yes . Send the media off into another corner foaming with outrage.
:: Engelberg, editor in chief of the nonprofit news organization ProPublica, wrote in an email. We are part of an essential function in any democracy.
(A) Why work for for a ^non-profit^ organization? I assume Engleberg does not receive a paycheck...because, well, non-profit?
(B) This statement reveals the abject ARROGANCE of the (communist) media in the webz; media is a function of the people, not a function of our [so-called-by-Engleberg] democracy.
Sit down, shut-up and stop tryin’ to run my life!
Read Dilbert strips for years, but never thought about reading what the author writes.
Whether this is a conscious strategy or not, the fact that President Trump is making good on a number of campaign promises (another new concept in D.C.) and doing so in quick order, has the effect of making the MSM run around in circles, not sure where they should aim their badly blunted pens. Scott Adam’s Blog at http://blog.dilbert.com/ recently noted this same effect.
I do not want the media to shut up. I would rather see the continue to foam at the mouth so they can continue to dig themslves further into obscurity and as an object of derision and scorn by the public. Let them shoot themselves in the foot by shooting off their mouths in even more rabid and entertaining ways so much so that it reveals who they truly are on the inside.
Let their concealed disembling be revealed.
I’ve been outraged by the media for more years than I can tell (but I don’t think I ever foamed at the mouth from outrage). It is great to see them get some of their own medicine.
MSM should should just report the news as it exists...
...and not make it up.
Interesting..... Thanks Liz..
Never a truer word spoken.....
The DBM doesn’t understand Trump at all and they definitely don’t understand his strategy as described by the Dilbert blog.
It’s a game of whack-a-mole and Trump is orchestrating the moles so frantically and randomly, that the Democrats and their press arm don’t know where to focus. When they do focus, they always focus on the brightest, shiniest object which is usually the most trivial one.
The rules of the game have been turned upside down.
Eventually, Democrats/DBM will catch on that they’re being played but until they do, it’s great entertainment watching them desperately trying to come up with a unified and coherent message that can be pushed incessantly.
Basically, the only consistent message I’ve heard is “Trump is a meanie.”
For a fun party trick, ask your most liberal friends if they think the Federal government should have a say in whether a woman gets an abortion or not. When they say the Federal government should stay out of that decision, inform them that President Trump shares their opinion. He doesnt want the Federal government to be in the business of making health care choices for women. He prefers leaving that decision to the woman, her doctor, and state laws.
I can see the Dem-wits eyes start to twitch from here......heh, heh, heh
Bannon is so take-no-prisoners. Love it. And it is ridiculous how the media doesn’t even paise, feels no shame, no reflection, no self evaluation after getting the election so wrong. Their credibility is zilch and they still strut around as if they’re some sort of trusters keepers of the truth flame.
Uh oh. You’re srarting to get it.
Every day Team Trump throws a couple of pieces of cheese into a maze and the rats chase it while he then proceeds to govern, do exec orders, and achieve stuff -—and they are so busy with the cheese they don’t even see.
