bet we have deactivation hidden circuitry that we can use in case of attacks from our planes..push a button, and it crashes..

No, but the Saudis are incapable of maintaining the weapons systems we sell them. They hire foreign contractors, many of whom helped build those systems, to maintain them.

When Iran fell, US contractors removed critical F-14 components before unassing that country.

As a child I read in Reader’s Digest about the Russian pilot who defected with his MiG, to Japan I think.

He was trained that if his plane was going to fall into enemy hands he should push a self-destruct button; he was assured there was a timer, thus allowing him to escape.

Turns out the button was wired directly to explosives. There was no timer.

We should do something like that, just for kicks. And by kicks I mean “for the amusement of my fellow Americans, whose tax dollars paid for that plane”.
