Zuckerberg Suddenly Reconsiders Forcing Hawaiians Off Their Land

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg may rescind lawsuits he filed against local Hawaiians in order to fulfill the development of his prospective 700-acre estate after receiving a lot of criticism, namely from locals.

“Based on feedback from the local community, we are reconsidering the quiet title process and discussing how to move forward,” Zuckerberg said in a statement, according to BuzzFeed News. “We want to make sure we are following a process that protects the interests of property owners, respects the traditions of native Hawaiians, and preserves the environment.”

Zuckerberg, who is reportedly the sixth richest person in the world, was essentially trying to force local residents on the island of Kauai to sell off parcels of property through legal proceedings called “quiet title action.”

Zuckerberg says that it’s rather difficult to payout the property owners because land that was granted to families in the mid 1800s has been split among hundreds of descendants.

LOL! Could not count the number of times I was called out as haole trash when we lived there in the late ‘50s. Life was good in Manoa Valley then in Pearl City. We even got days off from school when Hawaii was granted statehood. Now they’re sorry. ;-)

Zberg wants to run for president in 4 or 8 years as rich bleeding heart liberal

So, he doesn’t want videos of his walls around his homes built to keep the common voters off his compound estates.

This is an outrage! Hawaii ought to secede become its own country again and take their two permanent Democrat Senators and permanent Democrat Congressmen with them.

Money will put an end to this problem.

The locals just want some of that cash.

How do you control land without buying it?

You control the local government.

We took over Hawaii illegally anyway. They should just restore the Kingdom.

Screw ‘em. All I know about the little fag is that he made a big deal of no walls on our borders. Then he moves to Hawaii and builds a huge wall surrounding his property which obstructs the view for other residents. He’s a hypocritical little prick.

From what I read, he brought suit to quiet title and for partition by sale. This basically means the land cannot fairly be partitioned (divided) in kind, so it is sold to a third party and the proceeds are divided. This applied to several small tracts scattered through his property.

Zuck could then buy a clear title from the third party.

Oh he has provenance alright. Check the litigation against him. He stole farcebook from a group of Harvard undergraduates who developed it.

He can do it again with this land. All he has to do is do what the state of New York did to my ancestors. Just claim there are too many owners to deal with, take the hundreds of acres and buildings and pay nothing.

“The locals just want some of that cash.” Hmmm. Sounds a little like the Dakota pipeline issue. Oh, did I write that out loud? Once the chiefs get the “required” compensation, they’ll disperse the “protestors” and tell them everything has been worked out with big round eye chief in D.C.

Sounds like he has title to the property and he’s trying to clear off squatters. The defense would probably be adverse possession. With a response to that being prior permissive use.

Sounds like it could be a fun case, if the client had deep enough pockets, and Zucherberg certainly does.

Have the land appraised. Put the money away only to be distributed after the people that think they have a claim figure it out.
Would be fun to watch and you can start building.

The quiet title is the correct way to handle it but can’t now
