Hillary Clinton is now reportedly considering a new television show to help her prepare for another White House run.
“She’s been talking very seriously about the idea of having her own television show,”a close Clinton insider told author Ed Klein, the Daily Mail reported Wednesday. “As a TV host, she’d discuss the issues of the day from a progressive point of view, have top guests, interview world leaders and progressive thinkers.”
The idea of the show would be to help Clinton stay in the limelight and remain a leader opposing President Donald Trump’s agenda. After a surprise loss to Trump in November, many thought that Clinton’s chances of becoming president were over.
However, the purpose of the show would be to prepare for a 2020 presidential run, according to Klein’s source.
“She thinks being the host of a popular TV show would energize the Democratic Party base and her tens of millions of fans. It’s a way to make a comeback and position herself for another run at the White House starting in a year or so,” the source said.
Clinton would be able to control the show in a manner that would not allow for embarrassment.
“It would have to be a show that she and her people completely controlled,” the Clinton insider said.
It is unknown if Clinton has been in any talks with networks. If a show does come to fruition, Clinton would be the second oldest female news or talk show host on television after Joy Behar of ABC’s “The View,” the Daily Mail noted. Clinton is currently 69 years old.
Clinton also reportedly told a gathering of friends in Washington, D.C. that she would be back in politics.
“She’s utterly determined not to fade into the background. She intends to stay in the limelight and keep fighting the good fight,” the Clinton insider said. “She knows Obama is going to be out there fighting too. But frankly, she doesn’t think he’s a great leader or a great fighter, which leaves an opening for her to be the acknowledged leader-in-exile of her party.”

So she is attempting to replicate “Celebrity Apprentice” to follow in Trumps footsteps? Does this woman ever have an original thought? She can’t do media and promotion like Trump has done. This will not work out well....for Hillary.
I would love for her to get a show. It would be totally boring. She has no charisma whatsoever, and she has absolutely nothing new to say. It would probably be a recitation of rat talking points. Same old same old screeching we were treated to during the election. Even libs would get tired of tuning in. The network will eventually cancel it. Probably later than it should. But meanwhile we can take note of the companies that continue to prop her up and make our purchases with that knowledge.
TV host? Seriously? I can't imagine tuning in to listen to her screeching, fingernails-on-the-blackboard, voice again.
Hasn't this lady gotten the message? No one wants her as president. Running a THIRD time, as a two-time loser, is not a recipe for winning.
Expect to see several more “Hillary remains relevant” pitches as she slides steadily into irrelevancy.
The scary thing is that they keep those people on MSNBC even though they have no ratings, so just because her show wouldn’t have high ratings doesn’t mean that it would go off the air.

I could/can perfectly identify with that and felt a kinship throughout this election cycle with the "Berniebots"...had the GOP establishment managed to deny Trump the nomination, I would have felt the same. While I'm glad Hillary was our opponent, Bernie was the populist counterpart on the left and it would've been fascinating to have a Trump-Sanders match.
I got it. Anybody remember dwarf tossing? Her show could be a panel show and at the end, celebrity guests can throw her into a van.
