I apologize to Donald Trump. As Sean Spicer so wisely said at his first news conference on Monday (It was the first. The one that happened on Saturday did not happen at all, and I recognize that!), it is unfair to be so mean and negative all the time.
Here is the fair and unbiased story about the inauguration written in compliance with the Trump style guidelines that we should have been obeying all along.
Nothing that has ever happened or will ever happen was as great as Donald Trumps inauguration.

After DECADES of insisting that they are unbiased and impartial, the traditional media is no longer even pretending to be fair and balanced. This last year they haven't had the curtain pulled away from them, they've burned it down on their own with a chorus of flame throwers.
Nothing like this has ever happened in the annals of American journalism before. Where practically the entire mainstream journalism industry has abandoned all pretense so as to attempt to destroy one person.
It won't survive this. And they don't realize it.
That's right; and don't you forget it! /snark
Where's the Barf alert?
There exists vacuums in the universe that are so complete that not even quantum events can happen there.
One of those vacuums lives in this WaPo low-T low IQ journalist’s head.
Boy, Spicer and Trump are really getting under their skin by jerking their little privileged arses around, eh?
Under Bezos, sheer vitriol, under the guise of satire, substitutes for reasoned and reasonable opinion on the opinion page of the Washington Post. They have sunk so low, lower than they already were.
See the byline and where it was posted and move on. End of story.

looks like something of a parody posted on the opinion page. Dave Barry might have done something similar.
When Bush took office, I remember 24/7 coverage of how despicable his cabinet appointees were.
This time around, all the media reports on is crowds.
Shiny objects and all.
Agree, I believe one of the key wins of the Trump Presidency will be the exposing the media, ridiculing them, driving down their influence, and in some cases making them irrelevant.
A wise business person would seize this opportunity to build a news network that specializes in.... reporting the news in a trustworthy and unbiased way.
What a snot this little twerp is.
its pretty funny the people who say Trump should not go on about the inauguration keep going on about the inauguration.
It won’t be long until they’re out of business.
Could the bias be any more clear?
Hey Alex... get over yourself you bitch.
Bump!
A absolutely love how you stated that. The Washington ComPost is certainly “fake news”. Almost as completely so as it CNN.
Exactly.
“Free press” is a grave misnomer
The presses and networks are not owned by the people, nor do they serve “the people”
They are owned by large corporate interests whose billionaire owners obviously find progressive liberalism to be conducive to their wealth and power, and who feel not responsibility to, but contempt for, “the people”
deplorables
the word that won the election
