Convicted kidnapper Silsby is with Amber Alert now and gets the alerts before they go public? Someone has to vet the stuff that is submitted for alert and can tip off kidnappers and delay putting out the alert. That could be very useful for the trafficking networks.
The British satirical magazine Private Eye covered this better than the regular media. I wish I still had that copy of the magazine figures of 6-700 were quoted, as I remember, far more than official investigation quote. Involved in the abuse it was alleged were lawyers, politicians, judges, senior police etc.
As we now recognize as "standard practice" the establishment did its best to cover up and ignore the problem.

Frankly, I thought Pizzagate was a bit of a reach. The Podesta texts were too vague. I though that maybe it was some weird inside joke. Although, you have to admit that Podesta has very strange tastes in the art he selects for his home.
But, a link between shady mass adoption practices and the parties allegedly involved in Pizzagate does get my attention.
